Very interesting item in Bed Widdicombe’s Gategrasher column today.  Widdicombe reports that he was all set to bring the exclusive on ‘Hollywood’s first out-gay-actor couple today’ but pesky personal representative got in the way and decided that now wasn’t the time. 

ER’s Shane West (who has also done his turn in many a chick flick movie like A Walk To Remember with Mandy Moore and Get Over It with Kirsten Dunst) and

Ashton Holmes (whom you might recognise from his recent appearances in Boston Legal or as a bit player in Ghost Whisperer, Cold Case, Law And Order SVU or as I do for a brilliant performance in A History Of Violence)

were both spotted at the Heineken Premium Light event at Les Duex in LA on March 13.  The two were seen “in a dark corner of the bar making out, They had a quick but passionate kiss and then a few pecks directly after. It was clear they tried to make it as brief as possible, but that they didn’t want to stop.”

Not only Gatecrasher sources saw them, but also a few sightings of the couple were reported to Queerty.

Of course their reps are denying everything.   Holmes rep, “It’s absolutely absurd”, and West’s,  ”This is laughable. There is absolutely no truth to this story.”  In a time where TR Knight and Neil Patrick Howard have not had any dent in their viewing figures or any bad publicity for coming out I’m not sure what the problem is any more.  No doubt though, their reps will be quick to have them seen photographed dating, Rachel Bilson, Nadine Coyle or Penelope Cruz in the coming days.
