MARLON WAYANS GETS ‘UGLY’: ‘Little Man’ actor brings another comedy to the big screen.

Comedic actor Marlon Wayans goes from poking fun at height in the movie “Little Man” to making a statement about inner beauty in his latest film project, “Pretty Ugly.”The comedy is about a good-looking lifestyle mogul who wakes up one morning looking hideous because of a curse. As a result, he must discover his inner beauty to save his company and win over the woman he loves.
The project, which Wayans will also develop and produce, started out as a DreamWorks venture, only to be picked up by Walt Disney Pictures and eventually returned to DreamWorks.
Wayans’ previous effort, “Little Man,” opened to more than $20 million at the box office last month. On the television front, Marlon and his brother Shawn wrote, directed and voiced Nickelodeon's "Thugaboo," a series of animated specials about the trials and tribulations of nine inner city kids. The first special aired on Nickelodeon on August 11th and will be available on DVD on August 29th.
