First Look At Jamie Lynn Spears' Baby Girl!
There she is, people. The newest opened up to OK!Spears lady, little Maddie Briann Aldridge, daughter of Jamie Lynn and fiancé Casey Aldridge, niece of Britney. Jamie Lynn opened up to OK! about having a kid the ripe old age of 17.
"Being a mom is the best feeling in the world," she declared.
JL says that the new family has settled into a perfect little life together, complete with their perfect little bundle of joy.
"She is very good," J-L says of her baby girl, born on June 19. "She'll feed every two or three hours. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, I'll feed her and she goes right back to sleep. There's no screaming and crying."
The proud mama continues, "We get up in the morning, and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I've worked one out with her, and we're happy going about our little life."
Does anyone else think it's weird that Jamie said that she "gets her bath"? I picture Brit's little sis bathing her newborn, then Lynne Spears coming in to bathe Jamie Lynn, rubber duckies and all.
Anyway, thoughts on the tot? She's still a bit too tiny and in the "smushed stage" for me to comment. Though, somehow, I doubt you'll all have the same problem...

Now - can we stop glamorizing teen pregnancy? Seriously, when did it become a good thing to show our children that you too can get knocked up at 16? It's fine for a person of means like JL, but the average girl is basically re-routing her entire life and giving up a lifetime of opportunities. I'm not saying that she shouldn't have had the child, but lets stop making her into a role model.
The baby's adorable, but Jamie's hair looks horrendous. I love how they tried to dress her up to appear older. As if we forgot she's 17.
That's the first thing I thought too! Her hair is something else. Britney probably did it. So I finally watched Juno the other day and I was shocked at what kind of content they had in it. "Flashbacks" of Juno getting on top of her babydaddy, calling the boys' thingies "pink swords" and etc, etc! I am flabbergasted that America is glamourizing teen pregnancy and making it a light hearted thing. No wonder there's teen pregnancy pacts and girls thinking that having a baby is FUN. WTF? We seriously need to do something.
Oh and Maddie is precious.
The first thing I noticed when I saw the picture was JL's hair....ugh! It does make her look so old. I agree though, the baby is too young yet to tell what she'll look like.
Her hair looks TERRIBLE.
"Gets her bath" is a country slang goofball."Get" is used for a lot of stuff down South and yeah her hair is awful to say the least.She looks like a forty year old hair dye spokeswoman or vitamin saleswoman.

If you were parents ( and most of aren't thank god! )you would know that. You idiots are just looking for reasons to put her down because you are jealous of her and her sister. JL you look great! I wish you and Maddie and Casey only the best. The rest of you, your mother's must have dropped you on your heads to turn out the way you have.

Just because JL is on the cover after having her baby doesn't mean that we are idolizing her or saying that teen pregnancy is a good thing or something our children should do. She had a baby! That's reason to celebrate and like all other celebs she shows her baby off. Who wouldn't if they had the chance? Congrats to you both. Enjoy her while she's small, the time goes way too fast....

Well at least shes raising her baby..and didnt go off and have an abortion...I have a 17 year old daughter..and she isnt goin to run out and have a baby just cause JL did it...but if she did she would raise it too!! Give JL a break my gosh..
and how much was she paid for this??????????? one more thing stars getting their bodies back after giving birth cut me a break i have two daughters born 10 months apart i went home from the hospital in my regular jeans if you take care and not lay around like some lazy pig you should go home in your size 2 jeans.

i think that jamie looks older but her hair dont look that bad and i think the baby is very cute and she looks like her daddy !!! and people need to guit haten on her just cuz she has a baby and its not like she is like her sis cuz she aint i bet she will be a better mother than her sis ever would be and for one thing i thinks its better to have a baby younger cuz you can have more time to do stuff wit it insted of bein old and boring so thats wut i thin!!!!!
