Dancing With the Stars Couple Split

mariokarina.jpgThe music has stopped playing for Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff who started dating in 2006, when they were coupled up on Dancing With the Stars.

“Karina has parted ways with her two year relationship with Mario Lopez,” says the dancer's spokesperson. “The relationship wasn’t heading in the right direction.”

What does that mean? There must be some juicy juice needing to be squeezed out there.

Mario said this: “Karina and I have the utmost respect for each other. She is a phenomenal and talented woman. I support her always and feel blessed to have her in my life.”

She totally hates him -- she sounds a lot more bitter than he does.

That means exactly what she said, it wasn't going anywhere. He is probably one of guys that loves her and just may want to spend his life with her as long as she's called his "girlfriend"

They broke up because Mario is gay. I've always that. The relationship was not going anywhere because they both like men.

He's a player. He cheated on his wife Ali ? (she did the doritos commercial) on their honeymoon! They were together for at least 3 years or something before that & they were only married a couple of months. Never was a fan of his since then.

Dancing with the Stars is the name of a group of worldwide television series based on the format of the British series strictly come up to Dancing.

Mario is a junior version of George Clooney, in that he, too, is a player. Surely these women have better sense than to expect commitment? Mario's girlfriends--as is the case with Mr. Clooney's--get lots of publicity and other benefits from the relationships. What more do they want?

Does this mean that an A.C. Slater / Jessie Spano reunion is not far off?

I don't respond very often on these posts, but come on people, sometimes things just happen and don't work out. Just because these people are celebrities they are supposed to be perfect 100% of the time in others' eyes - are you always 100% perfect yourselves???? I think not! I read the comments on here fairly often, and there appears to be a lot of hatred and hostility when celebs don't do as they "should" do...COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a Flight Attendant, and I had them on a flight up in First Class. They fought like cats and dogs the whole flight. He really has a latin temper. The whole First Class heard him including the Flight Crew. I knew it wouldn't last. She finally "Woke Up" and got rid of him. There is 2 sides to him. The "nice" side in front of the camera, and then the "demanding side with a temper" that is not shown on TV. Believe me, I saw the "real" Mario in person. Do not like the guy at all.
