Actor Gary Dourdan is set to hang up his CSI: Crime Scene Investigation garb after choosing to leave the show when his current contract expires in May.

Just months after Jorja Fox quit the long-running forensics drama, her ex-castmate has also opted out.

According to TV Guide magazine, Dourdan and producers mutually agreed to part company.

Insiders suggest Dourdan will exit the show "in a spectacular fashion."
