Nicolas Cage has been forced to take his Bel Air mansion off the market after it failed to sell - despite being on offer for a year. The star purchased the house in 1998 for $7 million and put the property up for sale in 2006 with a price tag of $35 million.

However Cage has now withdrawn the sale after 12 months on the realtor's books failed to secure a buyer.
