Is Kate Moss about to sic her lawyers on Pete Doherty over his attempts to profit off their desperately screwed-up two-year relationship? So says the New York Post, which reports the sobriety-challenged, perforation-prone Babyshambles rocker is in talks with a British TV network to make a mint by dishing details on their erstwhile romance and sharing their home movies in a documentary titled, "Kate & Pete: A Love Story." "Kate is furious with Pete," says a source. "She has contacted her lawyers and plans to get an injunction to stop the production." The flawed ex-flames, whose split over the summer had Doherty alternately professing his undying love and calling Moss a "nasty old rag," had a soft spot for capturing their intimate moments on film. "They think it's cool and romantic, like something John Lennon and Yoko Ono would have done," an insider told the London Sun earlier this year. "But in reality, it's all rather embarrassing ..." Moss now appears to see it that way, too. "Some of it is really raunchy stuff Kate believed would never be seen by anyone else," a snitch tells the Post. "She'll feel betrayed." As for the state of Kate's romance with Kills front man Jamie Hince, it's apparently in transition. "Kate and Jamie have had their ups and downs, they are constantly pushing each other's buttons but Kate wants that all to end now," a mole tells the London Daily Mail. "She's had enough of the games and is finally ready to make the relationship work." To that end, she's allegedly surprising him with a tropical Christmas sojourn with her family, including 5-year-old daughter Lila Grace.

Is Mary-Kate Olsen's love life as fickle as her fashion sense? Just two weeks after the hobo septuagenarian chic starlet was rumored to have gotten up close and personal with the lips of "Brothers & Sisters" actor Dave Annable, she's been spotted cozying up to a different guy. W magazine claims Mary-Kate was swapping spit last Saturday at Manhattan hot spot Beatrice Inn with a New York artist named Nate Lowman. The pair, who seem to share a pro-PDA stance, were reportedly "making out" on one of the club's banquettes. Word is Mary-Kate and Nate, who's described as having "pallid tortured-artist good looks," have been quietly dating for a couple of months.

Did you groan at the sight of Heidi Montag's doleful expression and artificially enhanced décolletage gracing the cover of the latest Us Weekly? If you find yourself unable to suffer through the whys and wherefores of her attention-grubbing decision to call off her wedding to Spencer Pratt, here's the short version: "We've put the wedding on pause and the engagement as well. I didn't want to force the wedding on Spencer. We're just going back to being boyfriend and girlfriend ..." Heidi tells the mag, with her partner in publicity piping in, "When our relationship was flawless." As for her engagement ring, which TMZ.com has claimed wasn't so much a honkin' diamond as a thrifty amethyst, the fame-seeking starlet says, "I turned it into a pendant ... It wasn't my dream ring. I don't like what it represents. I might sell it." Her soul not included.

Nothing says romance quite like scooping up the bullet-ridden bodies of game birds, at least if you're Prince William and Kate Middleton, who were snapped nuzzling in between hauling dead fowl on a pre-holiday pheasant shoot this week in Windsor. According to the London Sun, the "festive" outing was a Christmas gift from the prince's grandma, the Queen, and offered further evidence over how serious his rekindled relationship with Middleton has become. The paper says the manner-born lovebirds, who briefly parted ways in April, are now cohabitating, with Kate an "unofficial" resident of William's royal Clarence House digs. "She and William have had a roller-coaster year, but it is fair to say they're closer than ever," a source tells the tab. "Since getting back together in the summer their relationship has matured and they are now on far more of an equal footing. Kate left her job in October and since then has spent the bulk of her time with William in Clarence House when he is in town."
