Paris Relieves Rodents

Paris has the power to reduce the pain in mice. She might not be curing world hunger, but hey, it's a start.
Paris Mice
McGill University neuroscientists have discovered that a "Simple Life" cardboard cutout of the heiress has proven to reduce pain in male mice. Exposure to Paris' likeness actually lowered the expression of a gene called c-fos, which transmits pain signals to the brain.

This suggests that there is reduced neural activity in the mice, not unlike the reduced activity in the brain of Hilton herself.

14. Whose picture did they show the mice to cause the pain in the first place, that horrible series of Pauly Shore? And what was the reaction of the female mice? And how do they know the pain lessened. This story raises more questions than answers.
