Pharrell Williams has hailed Kanye West the deserving victor in his fierce chart battle with 50 Cent. West's new release Graduation beat 50 Cent's Curtis to the top of the album charts after both discs were released on the same day.

And Williams is proud of his pal: "Congrats to my man Kanye he sh-- all over the world!" the 34-year-old told MTV News. "That album (Graduation) is classic with flawless production."
