Kristin Davis: 'End Of Sex Was So Traumatic'

Kristin DavisSex and The City star Kristin Davis is delighted the much-hyped film adaptation of the cult TV series is back on - because the show's finale was more emotional than anyone thought it would be. Davis reveals the cast felt sure there would be a brief period of mourning at the end of the show but then the stars and fans would move on - and they didn't.

She says, "(The finale) was a much bigger emotional deal than I think any of us expected. To have people in the street grab my arm, crying? It was hard."

And she admits the show's star, Sarah Jessica Parker, took the finale harder than most: "When we finished shooting on the last day, Sarah Jessica was sobbing on my shoulder for, like, 20 minutes."

Davis and Parker will join castmates Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon for the Sex and The City film, which starts shooting later this year.
