It may take more than Pete Doherty being "smack and needle-free" to lock down Kate Moss. The London Sunday Mirror says the desperately dysfunctional duo had yet another blow-up last week, prompting the frequently perforated Baby Shambles frontman to seek out the company of a Moss look-alike. "Pete and Kate had a serious argument during the week," a source tells the tab, "and he just decided to go on a bender." On Thursday night, Doherty supposedly got up close and personal with a "giggly" brunette looker at a London hot spot. "She had the same pointy features of Kate Moss and well-defined cheek bones," recounts a spy. "You couldn't help but see a similarity." According to the Daily Mail, Doherty left the club with the misguided beauty, whom he was later spotted "kissing and cuddling." Ew. Ew. Ew. Moss, who was apparently unable to get hold of the rocker after their squabble, reportedly responded to his alleged dalliance by jetting off to Paris, where she's due to hit the catwalk this week. "Kate is a mess," an insider tells the paper. "... She's been sobbing and wailing uncontrollably all weekend." The obstinately besotted supermodel "is supposed to be marrying him, so she's furious at the accusations of his cheating," adds the source. "It really is make or break." No word on whether this "make or break" moment will be any different from the previous 439 low points the button-pushing twosome has weathered.

Prince William and Kate Middleton were careful to keep their distance during the Concert for Diana on Sunday, but that hasn't stopped talk that they enjoyed a tryst the night before. The London Sun says the once and perhaps future pair, who announced their split in April after more than four years of togetherness, had a clandestine midnight rendezvous at the Prince's pad. "It was clear Kate and William had put together a plan so that the meeting could be kept secret," a spy tells the tab. "It was a carefully orchestrated maneuver and shows just how secretive they are being." Meanwhile, royal expert Christopher Andersen posits to the New York Post that William and Kate may not have called it quits at all. "Their closest friends believe it was all a ruse to get Britain's voracious tabloid press off Kate's back," he explains to the paper. "William has had recurring nightmares that Kate would meet the same fate [as his mom, Princess Diana], literally chased to her death by paparazzi."

Paula Abdul has apparently found someone who treats her like the self-described "gift" that she is. Us Weekly says the oft-discombobulated "American Idol" judge-turned-low-rated-reality-show-star, 45, is getting serious with restaurateur JT Torregiani, 32. "She introduces him to everyone as her boyfriend," a mole tells the mag. "It's really cute how she's so smitten."

Looks like the fickle flame of love has fizzled quickly for Chris Evans and Minka Kelly. The New York Daily News says the "Fantastic Four" fireball and the "Friday Night Lights" actress have gone belly-up after less than a month of coupledom. Kelly, however, isn't hurting for company. The paper says she's already enjoyed her second date with shiny-toothed Pink Taco mogul -- and Lindsay Lohan survivor -- Harry Morton.

Kelly Osbourne seems to prefer her men more indie than heavy metal. The New York Post says Ozzy's four-letter-word-loving little girl is shacking up with one Jarrod Gorbel, who fronts the New York indie band The Honorary Title. "She just moved in with him in Brooklyn," a source tattles to the paper, with another adding that she's "head over heels."

Kate Walsh has no qualms about sprinting down the aisle with a man she's been dating for a mere four months. "... I'm literally living the dream. But you know when you know," the "Grey's Anatomy" actress fate-temptingly assures People of her studio exec fiancé Alex Young. "I was not expecting it, so it's kind of amazing." Walsh adds that her "ridiculously handsome" future hubby is doing his part to help plan the nuptials by making himself scarce: "He's really great. He's there, but he's not in the way! He wants to contribute." Sounds like ideal husband material.
