Congrats to actor Nick Cannon who proposed last night to his Victoria’s Secret hottie Selita Ebanks. The couple, who attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Gala, were chauffeured in a Rolls Royce Phantom to Times Square where Nick proposed to his girl on one knee with a 12-carat diamond ring. Now that’s a rock!
The proposal was projected on the giant MTV jumbo-tron were the words, "Selita will you marry me?"
The couple celebrated afterwards at NYC hot spot Butter where Cannon surprised Ebanks by flying in his mother, both her parents and best friends into town. Other stars in attendance included Zach Braff, Marc Ecko, Tommy Hilfiger, and Young Jeezy who enjoyed red velvet cake, free flowing champagne, Budweiser Select and Evian. The jet-setting couple left their party at 3am so that they could catch a private plane back to LA. Nick is working on his latest flick American Son.
