Paris Fires Her Publicist

Paris Hilton

Just days after Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail, her longtime publicist Elliot Mintz announced that he no longer reps Miss Hilton.

He released the followng statement to TMZ.com:

"The day after the hearing, I sent an e-mail expressing my sadness over the ruling of the judge and the irrational sentence he imposed. In that e-mail I also offered my sincerest apology for any misunderstanding she received from me regarding the terms of her probation. To the extent that I have miscommunicated information I received from her attorneys......I am deeply and profoundly sorry. I told her that I assume personal responsibility for my part in this matter. I believe when stated in court that she believed it was o.k. for her to drive under certain circumstances she was being absolutely truthful. Due to this misunderstanding, I am no longer representing Paris. For the record, I have nothing but love and respect for Paris and her family. Paris is a wonderful person and does not deserve the punishment that was handed down by the court. I only wish her my best."

......she got what she deserved. Anyone who can't understand what "suspended liscence" means, needs to go to jail to think about it. So sick of celebs getting away with murder.....oh yea, let's wait and see what happens with Lane Garrison.....hollywood bullsh*t.

you're wrong lissa
to lissa: you are wrong. I wish people would stop being brainless idiots following what tabloids and gossip rags tell them and use their brains for once. It's a myth that celebrities get away with everything. But I would expect stupid people to just get smart all of a sudden. Look what they've done so far: elected that idiot Bush for a second term, destroyed the rights of citizens, got us into a war, ...

Amazing what money will buy, her publicist just took responsibility for HER actions in order for the appeal to look good, the fact the rules of probation were not clearly explained to her etc, MY A$$, they are trying to get her out of Jail time, violate probation you go to jail, it happens every day to normal people, it should happen to her, miss above the law.

Oh yeah, and if it were my life, and jail time was a possibility, I think I'd be reading the rules of the probation! I mean, DUH, so she's full of crap, thats why she and her mommy went shopping wzs to brainstorm on how to get Paris out of the mess she's in, so lets fire someone, (sacrafice them) in order to save her. She knew what she was doing, and she knew the risks, put her in jail.

Paris Hilton is a grown woman who needs to take responsibility for her own mistakes and actions and stop blaming other people for her stupidity. She broke the law, plain and simple.

My guess is the Hilton's offered him a sum he couldn't refuse to make a public statement admitting guilt so that Paris would appear innocent.

What a puppet, but I guess if the puppet is not doing what I asked of it, them I would get rid of it. If I were a celeb and he was representing me as well after this statement, I would fire him as well!
